Journalist, artist and novelist, Tom Wolfe is one of the founders of the New Journalism. Born in Richmond, Virginia, Wolfe worked for a series of newspapers and magazines including The Washington Post , The New York Herald Tribune , and Esquire . His books include, The Kandy-Kolored Tangerine-Flake Streamline Baby (1965), The Electric Kool-Aid Acid Test (1968), The Right Stuff (1979) and Bonfire of the Vanities (1987).
